Free Santa Claus SVG Files

The holiday season is so exciting already but if you’re looking to kick it up a notch, these FREE Santa Claus SVG Files are just the thing. Keep reading to see all of the cute Santa svg designs and get ideas for how to use them with your Silhouette Cameo.

Christmas Crafts for Silhouette

Initially I planned on sharing just one of these Santa SVGs in a blog post but then inspiration hit and I decided to just go for it and create a bundle. It seems like each year some new fad or cool idea comes out and we feel like we need to one up ourselves from the year before.

If that’s you (and sometimes it’s me), you will love these fun Christmas SVGs.

Christmas Traditions

One of our favorite Christmas traditions is making magic reindeer food on Christmas Eve and sprinkling it on the lawn. We have always taken care of Rudolph and company and this year we will be adding to this Christmas Eve tradition by leaving Carrots for the Reindeer.

There seems to be a lot of emphasis on the naughty and nice list. I know many parents like to use various tactics to inspire their little ones to behave.

The Elf on the Shelf has been number one on the list for years. He usually appears shortly after Thanksgiving and reports back to the North Pole regularly with updates.

If your child needs a little prompting in the behavior department and is more into technology, using a Santa Cam might do the trick. With a little adhesive vinyl, the Santa Cam free svg files and Christmas ornament blanks you can have your child believing that Santa is keeping his eye on them, literally.

The Elf on the Shelf and the Santa Cam are great ideas for the days and weeks leading up to Christmas but what about Christmas Eve? Don’t worry, I have digital products for Christmas Eve that you’ll love.

Free cookies for Santa SVG File

Setting out cookies and milk for Santa on Christmas Eve is a must! After all, he does need some food to recharge to complete his trip around the world.

Of course you can put his cookies out on any old plate and his milk in any old cup but when you have a cutting machine, why not go the extra mile.

You can use these cute Cookies for Santa svg and Milk for Santa svg and make a custom plate setting.

Free Santa Sack SVG

In the beginning of this post we talked about kicking things up and notch and this next idea will not disappoint. Pinky promise. Instead of trying to fit all of the gifts under the tree, make a Santa sack for each of your kids using heat transfer (t-shirt vinyl will work as well) and a blank sack, load it with gifts and toys and put that beside or in front of the tree.

Santa Sack

For this Santa Sack design you’ll receive an extra file in case you want to customize it with a name. The font I used for “Santa Claus” (if you want it to match) is called The Illusion of Beauty and you can purchase it at Creative Fabrica.

When they wake up Christmas morning there will be no guessing whose gift is whose. They will be over the moon excited by idea that Santa put their gifts in his sack.

How Can I Use Santa Cut Files

Now that you have these awesome free Santa Claus SVG Files you might be wondering how you can use them. I’ll break it down for you here.

These Santa svgs come with a commercial license and personal use license for physical items. What that means is that if you are a small business or an Etsy shop owner and you’d like to make the Santa sack or a cookies for Santa plate (for example) and sell the physical product, you totally can.

You can also cut these designs out of craft vinyl and sell the design as a Christmas decal and your customers can use it on their own Christmas crafts.

What you can’t do is sell the digital design itself. You can’t take the zip file and upload it to a file sharing site or sell it as your own. That is the nature of digital files. Use them to create things to sell and gift, YES. Resell, redistribute or share the actual files (digital files – SVG, Transparent PNG, etc) NO.

5 FREE Santa Cut Files

While these cut files were designed to be used with a cutting machine, you can use the transparent PNG as clip art or you can make stickers. Some software suggestions are Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw Inkscape (free) and Paint Shop Pro.

What Cutting Machine Can I Use These Santa SVGs On

Whether your machine of choice is the Silhouette Cameo, Cricut Explore or Brother ScannCut, these Santa designs will cut out beautifully.
