Welcome new friends and old! I don’t know about you but I look forward to this party every week. Are you guys having fun? I hope so. šŸ™‚

So last week we chatted about our favorite TV shows. This week I want to know what your most embarrassing moment was. Of course to keep things fair, I will tell you mine. About 8 and a half years ago I used to sing in the music ministry at my old church. Once praise and worship was over we would all walk off the alter and go take our seats. Well, one night I was walking down when I lost my footing. I began to stumble and bumble and every step that I took I tried to catch my footing I only made things worse. The end result was I slammed into the first row of chairs full speed ahead and fell on my knees. My dad who was also on the alter came flying off to see how I was. A few others caming running. Everyone thought I passed out. lol I just sat there with my head down laughing. There probably was about 150 people there that night. LOL

  4. No link…but my most embarrassing moment…wearing my blouse inside out to my first day of high school…OK, it may not be the most embarrassing…but it was not good.

  5. Ok so back in like 5th grade (mid 1980s) I had these pair of pants that had elastic around the ankles. Now, we all wear our pants more than once usually, right? So, I was sitting in class and I noticed a bulge down by my ankle. I reached inside and lo and behold I pulled out a pair of dirty undies. Right in the middle of class. So Not Cool.

  6. One of my many embarrassing moments: I was in 8th grade and we had a ditch day so a bunch of us went to a friends house to jump on the trampoline…the cute 10th grade boys were hanging out next door so I decided to “show off” and do a back flip on the tramp…over shot, foot landed on and went through the springs..I was scraped up and stuck. My friends had to pull me out all while they and the 10th grade boys laughed their butts off!

  7. Hi Diana! I’m am a new friend and love meeting new friends so thanks for hosting a great party. My most embarrassing moment would be when I was running late for a volunteer training class and rushed out the door, jumped into my friends car and didn’t notice until we were there getting out of the car that I had put on one brown shoe and one black shoe. Well since my friend loves me so much she did speed home real quick so I could run upstairs and grab a matching shoe. That was a close one! TGIF!

  9. Ha! I have so many embarrassing moments! But yours brought to mind the time I slid down an entire escalator on my back (ouch, by the way) in the middle of a large mall in my hometown city while there was a choral performance going on on a stage located near the bottom of the escalator! Apparently, when I embarrass myself, I like to have an audience gathered – ha!

  10. I LOVE the new look. I finally got my up and running for today. It fun to change it up, isn’t it. šŸ˜‰

  11. I saw the “New Friend Friday” link in another blog I follow. What a great idea! I’m looking forward to participating. Thanks for hosting!

Great blog, BTW. I don’t have a creative bone in my body. You have some awesome ideas!

  12. Woohoo – Friday again!

My moment: In middle school, my friends hung my training bra in my locker and told everyone to gather around to have a look when I opened it up first thing that morning. I had no idea what was going on. Looking back, it was pretty benign, but back then – wow. I was utterly mortified!!

  13. I have embarrassing moments but none too devastating…the worst is making the mistake of wearing a long flowing skirt at a wedding photo shoot. Every time knelt down I would kneel or step on the edge of the skirt and so when I stood I risked loosing the whole skirt…

  14. Oh gosh, most of my embarrassing moments are ones that are embarrassing in hindsight. Sticking my foot in my mouth and not realizing it until months or years later type of embarrassing. I did fall down the stairs at a lecture hall in college, though. šŸ™‚

  15. My nickname from my best friedns mom is “Grace”…because I don’t have any! So my most recent embarrassing moment was falling UP the stairs in the balcony section of our church because the lights were “down” for a video!

  17. Oh that must have been embarrassing…poor thing. K so long story short, my son broke his arm when he was 4. We were in the doctors office WAITING and WAITING and WAITING, who keeps a toddler waiting that long anyway. So I started snooping through the drawers, and found some ace bandages. Ooo I could use one of those, so I put one in my purse. (you know you’ve done it) so the nurse finally comes in, and my son says repeatedly while pointing at my purse “She took that”, “she took that”… I could feel the heat in my face so I know I was beet red. I kinda pretended like I had no clue what he was talking about and giggled it off. The nurse just looked at me and smiled, so when she left I took it out and put it back in the drawer…ugh whatta little punk huh :)lol Oh and thanks for hosting…and BTW I like the new look! very sleek šŸ™‚

  20. Embarrassing moment?? I can’t think of anything as good as yours šŸ˜‰ but I’m SURE I’ve had one. What I can think of are all the times my kids say/do things in public that make me just want to crawl away and become invisible. And, there are more of those moments than I could possibly tell! šŸ˜‰ lol

Thanks for the linky – I love this one!

  21. Dang…I need to pick 1 embarassing moment? I think it was when I was around 10 years old at a place called Santa’s Land. I was riding the train around the theme park and hopping on and off like a total jerk. The ‘conductor’ stopped the train, walked down to me and yelled at me in front of everyone. Totally deserved it…definitely embarrasing!

  22. I LOVE the new look!!! And I love what you did with my blog!!! I’m so excited about and I just keep going back to it and looking at it!!!

  23. Hmm, there are so many embarassing moments to choose from! Once when I was really little I was playing with my toys during church and accidentally slamed the kneeler down and it made a SUPER loud noise. Of course, I started crying but it probably wasn’t as bad as i remember. Haha. Thanks for linky day!

  24. Thanks for hosting this! I love making new friends each week!

  25. I don’t have a MOST embarrassing, just a lot of equally embarrassing moments. One that sticks out in my mind is when I was in about the 10th grade and in the band, my friends and I wandered into the empty choir room to play around. I grab the acoustic guitar and pretend to do some pretty mean strumming. Then I thought it would be a great idea to attempt a jump…kind of like the ones guitarists do off of their amps or something. So I jumped off of the risers…and flat onto the floor. Don’t worry, the guitar broke my fall! Of course in high school, even your friends laugh at you when something like that happens. Good thing I laugh at myself easily. Good times…good times…

  26. Most embaressing moment….hmm probably the date I was on with my hubby where I came out of the bathroom with my skirt tucked into my pantyhose. At a fancy restaurant, in a skimpy dress and even skimpier thong under the hose. Yeeesh

Hi everyone! Such a fun thing to do on fridays! My most embarrassing moment was when I was 8 years old. In church, Sunday morning, we all had our heads low and said our prayer quietly, the entire church was quiet, no noise at all, I was very tired and yawned and at the same time while my mouth was wide open a VERY loud hic-up came out! Everybody chuckled, I turned red and pretended it wasn’t me:)

  28. My entire life is a series of unfortunate and embarrassing events… I had the combination lock cut off at the gym once because I forgot my combination… and then discovered that IT WASN’T EVEN MY LOCKER that I had them destroy the lock of =/

  29. My #1 most embarrassing moment was on a college camping trip at a lake with a ton of other college kids. To make a long story short, my bathing suit top fell down to my waist in front of a bunch of guys. I’m small-chested and apparently there wasn’t enough to hold the bathing suit top up when I was out on a boat and we hit some choppy water. I wanted to die! Of course, my friend who was with me couldn’t stop laughing. It was BY FAR my most embarrassing moment!

  30. Oh, Diana…I wish I could have been there for that night! But I can envision it…especially Dad! My most embarrassing moment…probably when Kenny Maxwell pulled the chair out from behind me during the altar call when I went to sit down…and I crashed in all the metal chairs while prayer was going on…and of course, who was sitting right next to him? My love, MM…I went out to the van and hid in my Holly Hobby Sleeping bag and cried….

  31. Thanks for being vulnerable to share that Diana! Can’t help but chuckle! Mine would have to be sticking a straw up my nose from the milkshake I was sharing with my date (who later became my husband)!

  32. I almost completely forgot to do this little part…I just updated my post with my embarrassing moment. Just how do _you_ spell pianist?

  33. Love that story! Too funny. this party is so fun, I am glad that you do it each week. I have a story worse than yours. lol.. Lets just say I got the giggles a little too bad in the middle of a Target.. You can use your imagination. It was super embarrassing. :-0

  34. Not sure this is the most embarrassing but it is the most current one I made salmon patties and I baked them and put them on a bun After I bit into it and was chewing I saw what I thought was cricket legs I spit the food out in not such a lady like manner…my hsb was freaking out – he thought it was a fish tail..all of a sudden it came to me…I forgot I had put a rosemary sprig on the underside of the patty to flavor it!! We did laugh abt it but my heart sunk when I saw it

  35. ooh I love this New Friend Friday idea!! I can’t wait to find a bunch of new blogs to add to my adddiction.

  38. I made a link to my blog on here but no one made a comment as per the stipulations to the “New Friend Friday”. Is this normal. I am new to the blogging world and really love the idea you have. I have giveaways and reviews as well as recipes and crafts…am I just not out here in the blogging world long enough. I am rather frustrated in that no one wants to enter my giveaway I have now going on. Also have great giveaways lined up once this one is over. Any advice would be great please.
