It sure has been a long time since I shared a vinyl craft with you. Life is super busy right now and just got busier with a new temp job so I’m glad I carved out the time to make these snowman cuties.

EASY DIY SNOWMAN TRAVEL MUGS

I picked up a package of 2 white travel mug blanks from Hobby Lobby about a month or so ago. At the time I’d been working on some new Christmas SVGs and I knew that I wanted to test them out on some craft blanks.

Well, that idea went out the window as I got busy and the kids got sick. Enter my monthly Creative Team Blog Hop with the theme “Snowman Crafts” and I just knew how I wanted to finally use these travel mugs.

SNOWMAN TRAVEL MUG SUPPLY LIST

This snowman craft was so easy to make and took me all but 10 minutes to complete once the adhesive vinyl had been cut. Important Note: For this project you will need a Silhouette Cameo or Portrait or any one of the Cricut electronic cutting machines.

  • White Travel Coffee Mug Blanks – I picked mine up at Hobby Lobby for $4.99 but you can grab similar cups here on Amazon.
  • Adhesive vinyl in black red, orange, green, teal and pink. This is a perfect project for vinyl scraps.
  • Snowman Face SVG Files – I used this one from Creative Fabrica.
  • Silhouette or Cricut Electronic Cutting Machine. The Portrait or Joy would work perfectly for this snowman craft

That’s all the supplies you need.

Unfortunately I didn’t take any progress photos but this craft is so easy that I have total faith in you and I’m sure you can figure it out on your own!

As you can see from the image above, there are so many adorable snowman faces to choose from! Since I had 2 travel mug blanks, I went with a Mr. and Mrs. You can use whichever ones you want.

As you can see from my photos, I didn’t have orange vinyl for a nose. Womp womp. I used the closest thing I had on hand, gold. I think I pulled it off, don’t ya think?
