Hi everyone! It’s Amy from Unforgettable Childhood. Easter is quickly approaching and with it come the excitement of Bunnies, Egg Hunts and Candy.
The past couple of weeks my little one and I have been making Easter Treats. Last week we made Peanut Butter Eggs and Bird’s Nests. Today we attempted Homemade Marshmallow Chicks. Attempted is the key word. Our marshmallow never did get as fluffy as it should have so we moved to plan B.
We poured the marshmallow into a pan and used a flower cookie cutter to make Marshmallow flowers.
They tasted just like Peeps you can buy. . .even though I messed up some where along the way.
I wanted to share with you an easy Bunny Craft that you can do with your kids before Sunday.
You need a washcloth, rubber band, ribbon, 2 google eyes, a pink pom pom, a white pom pom and a plastic egg.
First you roll each of the corners of the washcloth to the center until they meet in the middle.
Then you fold the washcloth in half.
Next you pull the front of the washcloth over to form your bunny face and secure with a rubber band.
Wrap the ribbon around the rubber band and tie a bow.
Attach the google eyes and pink pom pom to the face.
Attach the white pom pom on the back for the tail.
Put your plastic egg in the back of the bunny and you have a bunny favor for your Easter table. You could even add a name with permanent marker onto the egg for a cute name card for your table.
We are excited to try a few more treats this week. You can find them over at Unforgettable Childhood. Join us for more Easter Fun!
XOXO
