Lilac Sugar Scrub Wedding Favors
Sugar Scrub Wedding Favors with simple rustic “Thank You” tags are perfect for the DIY bride! Not to mention it’s super easy and quick to make!
Sugar scrub is soooo easy to make and there are so many recipes to try. In the past I’ve made winter white sugar scrub, honeysuckle sugar scrub, pink lemonade sugar scrub and most recently (and quite possibly my favorite) Lilac Sugar Scrub! Not only is it super easy to make, it only takes a few quick minutes!
Supplies

1 C White Sugar
1/2 C Coconut Oil
12-15 drops of Lilac Fragrance Oil
Thank You Labels
1″ Circle Punch
2″ Circle Punch
Bakers Twine
NOTE: This recipe will fill (2) 4 oz mason jars so if you are making a bunch, just increase each item accordingly.
Pour sugar into mixing bowl. Add coconut oil and stir. You may want to add a little more sugar depending on the consistency you are looking for. Some people like their sugar scrub a little more dry and crumbly. I prefer mine a little on the oily side so you can just decide for yourself. You can’t really go wrong either way so don’t stress or think too much when making this. Once you have your scrub to your desired consistency, add your lilac fragrance oil and lavender dye and stir. Start with a few drops of the dye and see how you like the color. You can always add a bit more to get it to the color you want. Spoon into mason jars.
Now that you have your scrub all made up and spooned into the jars, print out the FREE Thank You labels onto full sheet labels and attach to the jar lids. You will need a 2″ circle punch to cut each label out. Wrap some coordinating bakers twine around the jar and add a cute arrow/love tag to finish it off. A 1″ circle punch is great for these little tags.
Of course I have downloads for the fun labels and tags I used for this project.
I’m sharing this post as part of the Craft Lightning Wedding Event hosted by Country Chic Cottage, Sweet Rose Studio and 30 Minute Crafts. All crafts shared during this event can ALL be done in 15 minutes or less! It’s such a fun event.
If you are looking for plain sugar scrub labels I have a bunch for you here!
If you aren’t a fan of Lilacs, then maybe one of these recipes will appeal to you!

sugar scrub – so easy to make and great for gift giving
What a great and beautiful gift! Although there are no weddings in my near future, I was thinking about making some of them to give to my daughters, granddaughter’s & girlfriends for Christmas or just because! ?. Since they have coconut oil in it, will it need to be refrigerated to keep?
Thank you!
Nope. If you keep it at room temperature you should be fine. 🙂
