The Girl Creative Eats!

Well, tonight was our first night of VBS and it went great. That has been occupying my time for the last month or 2 (along with a vacation, the last day of school, and a birthday party) so I’ve barely been able to do much blogging other than my Monday and Friday parties. I hope to get on a more regular blogging schedule once the Summer is over.

A few months ago I posted that I was looking for a few food contributors. Remember that? Well, I had high hopes of starting a food blog called The Girl Creative Eats but since I’m barely able to manage this blog, I feel like I’d be doing a great injustice to all who had responded to my call for food contributors by starting another blog, only to neglect it. BUT, I do love food so……..I’m going to attempt to do a once a week type post, a column if you will, related to food. I want to share your favorite recipes. Here’s what I’m looking for:

  • Your name and blog name with your blog url
  • ONE Photo of the finished dish (can be dessert, main course, appetizer, side dish, etc.)
  • Recipe
  • (edited to add) Please don’t send me links to blog posts. Just the photo and the recipe. This will make it much easier for me to keep up. 🙂

That’s it. I know some of you like to take progress pictures and post stories but for now I’d just like to keep it really, really simple.

I sent an email to all of the people who had responded to my first call for food contributors letting them know my plans and the format in which I’m looking for recipes. If that’s YOU, I’d love for you to still be a part of this.

I’m also looking for more people to submit recipes, so please send recipes in the requested format to:
