Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats

Calling all candy corn lovers!  Did you know that you could buy candy corn marshmallows?  I happened upon them on one of my regular trips to Target and just knew that Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats were in my future. If you don’t have a Target nearby, you can snag there HERE on Amazon.

If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen one of my recent posts about my weight loss journey. Now, I LOVE sweets and I LOVE to bake and being on this journey has been pure torture for me. I want to bake SO BAD! But I totally don’t trust myself because once that Kitchen Aid comes out to play, I’m a goner. Even though I love rice krispie treats, I knew that this was a pretty safe treat for me to whip up.

Once the treats were cool, I drizzled some melted white chocolate over the top. Yum, yum, yum!

Candy Corn Rice Krispie Treats uncut

Ingredients:

3 Tbsp Butter

1 10oz package of Candy Corn Marshmallow

6 Cups of Rice Krispies Cereal

White Melting Chocolates

Disposable Pastry Bag

Instructions:

In a large saucepan melt butter over low heat.

Add Marshmallows and stir until completely melted.

Remove from heat and add cereal. Stir until all of the cereal is well-coated in the marshmallow-y, buttery mixture.

Spread mixture into a nice even layer in a greased pan. Allow to cool.

Following package instructions, melt chocolate, spoon into pastry bag and drizzle the melted chocolate all over the cooled treat.

Cut and serve.

Tweak an already delicious family favorite snack by using Candy Corn Marshmallows instead. You will love the added flavor of fall it brings.

  2. I may be missing something. But what make this candy corn rice crispy treats. I just don’t see any thing that has to do with candy corn. Sorry. Just trying to understand the recipe. Thanks

  3. Oh now I see candy corn marshmallows. So sorry. Will have to try this. No white chocolate tho. Got to save those calories. They sure look pretty.

    1. I tried to leave a few out of the recipe so that I could take a picture of them but my 3 year old had other plans for them! lol 🙂
