It’s that time of year again when teachers return to their classrooms to set up for a new school year. To help inspire hard work, and positive thinking, decorating with inspirational quotes will get your students started off in the right direction.

While my home design style is clean and neutral, I absolutely love bright, cheerful spaces. These inspiring quotes are perfect for elementary school classrooms, playrooms, and homeschool workspaces.

A few years ago when I was first introduced to the app/website, Canva, I didn’t like it. I was mainly using it for photo collages for my blog posts. There was another site that I had been using for years and I didn’t want to learn anything new.

I’m not sure what changed my mind but now I can’t get enough of Canva. Making these 4 bright and cheerful inspiring classroom posters brought me so much joy.

I love the bright color palette in addition to the font combinations. However, what I love the most is the quotes themselves.

This adorable “Let Your Light Shine” printable uses a fun combination of a handwritten script font called Arley as well as a groovy font called Nectarine.

This design was a little bit out of the box for me with the color splotch background but in an elementary school classroom, it’s perfect. Used the fonts Anton and Halimum for this design.

Be The Reason Someone Smiles Today

This design just might be my favorite. As someone who is not the most outgoing person and who can be a little shy with new people, a smile goes such a long way. Teach your kids at a young age this concept.

The fonts used in this positive quote for kids is Nectarine, Arley and Century Gothic.

Be Kind

This simple “Be Kind” quote needs no explanation. In a world where you can be anything, be kind. The fonts used in this free printable classroom poster are Halimum and Anton.
