Printable Christmas tags for Holiday Gift Wrapping
The holiday season is upon us and it’s time to get your arsenal of wrapping paper and cute gift tags ready. Free Printable Christmas Tags are an easy, budget-friendly option when it comes to wrapping those Christmas gifts.
If you’re looking for the best free printable tags that allow you to offer a personal touch to your gift giving this year, you’re in the right spot. I have a great collection of different designs for the Christmas holidays.
There are many different styles when it comes to gift wrapping. Some wrap Christmas presents for each person in their own special paper. In addition to their own paper, perhaps each person gets their own gift tags giving that extra special touch.
Maybe everyone gets the same paper but they each get a different pretty ribbon to tie their free gift tags to make sorting gifts on Christmas morning easier.
Regardless of your gift wrapping style, using free printable Christmas tags is the perfect way to make your gifts stand out.
PRINTABLE CHRISTMAS TAGS
There are many different types of free Christmas tags that you can find on the internet. From rustic, farmhouse themes to traditional gift tags with snow globes or a Santa hat.
The sky is the limit when it comes to finding the perfect free printable gift tags.
One of the things I love about free Christmas gift tags is that they are perfect for a last minute gift. You can print them out on your home computer and you can use any paper you have on hand.
From white cardstock to kraft paper and even sticker paper, Christmas printables are so much fun to use.
If you love the idea of label stickers, it might be an issue if the tags you are using have a unique shape. The solution: full sheet label paper instead. All you need to do is print and cut out with scissors.
PRINTABLE HOLIDAY TAGS
One thing I’ve discovered when looking for free printable holiday gift tags is that there is no shortage of creativity. So many great ideas and designs for Christmas tags.
- Unique Designs: Think wreaths, chalkboard tags, and watercolor clipart.
- Different Shapes: Circles, vintage sale type tags, and scalloped circles can all be done with a paper punch.
- Traditional Christmas Colors: There’s a lot of neutral designs these days but there’s something to be said about christmas printables that incorporate the traditional Christmas colors like red, green, white and simple black.
PRINTABLE CHRISTMAS GIFT TAGS
With that said, I have such adorable gift tags for you to use on your Christmas gifts. Since I love all things woodsy and rustic, this free download includes a whole sheet of tags with a rustic, watercolor-looking reindeer.
Actually, you get 2 whole sheets of tags with 2 different unique designs.
At the bottom of this post you’ll find a link to the first set of tags I ever created along with some more printable Christmas tags I’ve found while browsing.

WHERE CAN I FIND FREE PRINTABLES?
Obviously you know you can find free printables here at The Girl Creative because you are here. (wink wink) When I’m looking for free printables I usually just type what I’m looking for into Google or Pinterest.
By clicking the “images” tab in Google you’ll be able to see the actual printable instead of just the text link to the source. This is very helpful when you are searching for something specific.
HOW CAN I PRINT FREE PRINTABLES?
The great thing about free printables is that they are FREE. Most printables include a PDF that you can download and print right from your home printer. You don’t need any special software or special paper either. Copy paper works just fine.
Printing Tip: When you print from home, be sure to change the print settings to “best” so that you have best quality possible. You might find this setting under “quality”. Your choices will be 300dpi, 600dpi and 1200dpi. 600dpi is perfect. I
If you’re worried about using too much ink, you can certainly try 300dpi first. Depending on what you’re printing, 300dpi might be all you need.
HOW DO I PRINT FREE PRINTABLES FROM PINTEREST?
While you can print right from Pinterest, you definitely should not. What you should do is click the link on Pinterest that will bring you to the page that houses the actual printable. By doing this you are also getting the best quality of the printable.
HOW DO I CREATE A PRINTABLE?
The best way to create a printable is by using the website, Canva. Canva has many templates that you can choose from and modify.
If you prefer to create a printable from scratch, you can do that too. You can do this by clicking the “Create a Design” button from the top right hand corner of the screen and from there you can choose a specific size or make up your own custom size.
After you have your template chosen or your blank sheet to create from scratch, you’ll add graphics and text by using the menu on the left. Once your design is to your liking, click “DOWNLOAD” from the top left corner.
Choose “PDF Print” from the dropdown menu and then click download. Your print will download to your computer (usually defaults to the download folder on your computer) and from there you can print it out.
Here at The Girl Creative I mostly share FREE printables and FREE SVG Cut files for Silhouette and Cricut. Every now and then you’ll see a simple craft or delicious recipe. From time to time I will blog about every day life and that includes my family and my relationship with Jesus. Read more…
