Rounding out Sienna’s Spring Collection, I give you the Petal Tiered Skirt.

My inspiration came from Katy at No Big Dill’s Divine Grace. I wanted to create an easy, fun skirt for my preppy niece, utilizing Katy’s gorgeous petal sleeve embellishment. Robert Kaufman’s Metro Living fabric line fit the bill, adding a contemporary twist to this classic look. And the piping gives the skirt its finishing touch.

I just love this. Sometimes tiered skirts can look a little messy, but this one is elegant and the piping really makes it look polished!

Thank you so much for the tutorial, I found it very easy to follow even though there were several things I had not done before. Here is my attempt - http://somthinsomthin.tumblr.com/post/4305728349/gorgeous-little-skirt
