I’ve never been much of a vegetable eater. As a child my grandfather would always make my mom eat her vegetables and she swore that she would never do that to her kids. And guess what, she never did. So, guess what? I still don’t eat them! I have to admit I’m getting much better at eating them though but not really because I want to. My husband wants me to make them more than I do because he wants our kids to learn to eat veggies because he knows how good they are for them. Me, I’d prefer chips and sweets and anything other than veggies that I can get my hands on. And unfortunately my kids have inherited that from me.

Well, enter Green Giant. They have a Giant Surprise: New Veggie Chips. Chips that are good for you? Yes please! I had the opportunity to try out the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips and the Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips from Green Giant. Seriously so yummy!

Vegetable Chips

I broke out the Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips (pictured in the bowl) first and they were delicious. Tasted a lot like other name brand chips that I love so I was sold. The real test was trying them out on my kids. Big snackers like me, I had a feeling they’d be a hit. I was right!

When I  asked them what they thought their replies were “Very, very good” and “Delicious”. Score! We also tried the Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips and those were yummy too. My kids were actually eating veggies and enjoying them. Awesome! Another little perk we found to these chips were the box top labels on the bag. Finally, a great tasting chip we can feel good about. That is so important to snacker in me.
