Hey there TGC readers! I’m Ellora from over at Creatively Southern, and I’ll be sharing with you a fun holiday or seasonal idea every month  right here on The Girl Creative. I’m so excited for the opportunity to work with Diana and to get to know you all too!

Can you believe that Father’s Day is right around the corner? This year I’ll be helping our little girl put together a candy gift basket for her Daddy and I’ve got some free printables just for you at the end of the post.

This is an easy gift idea that can be changed up for any candy or snack basket. You could even put together a special gift basket of Dad’s favorite hobby, tools, movies, the list goes on!

For this sweet tooth guy, I picked up a colorful plastic bin from Target and filled it with an assortment of candy and snacks. I created an 8×10 printable with one of my favorite “Daddy Day” quotes and another 4×6 printable to make a card or second frame.

The great thing about these, is the printables can be used for anything you are planning special for Father’s Day! Cooking up a special breakfast? Frame these and add them to Dad’s breakfast tray!

So what special plans do you have planned for that special daddy you know? I hope you enjoy the free printables here! Just check out the links below to download them. And if you’re still looking for ideas for Father’s Day, you can check out some of my boards on Pinterest and hopefully find some inspiration!

  1. As beautiful as they are sadly none of my children will be sending these to their father. Since the divorce he has virtually cut himself off except for the weekly dutiful phone call. That is endured by each sibling.

Hi. I think this is such a cute idea to do for Daddy’s day. However, I’m having difficulty in downloading the printables and to print it out. Can you help?

    1. Hi Lara – can you right click on them and save image as? If you can do that, that should work. In the meantime I will see about getting everything fixed. 🙂 Thanks for letting me know!
