What do you say we start this week off with a giveaway???? And it just so happens that today is my birthday so it’s PERFECT!!! Ever since these adorable shaped frames came out, I have been IN LOVE with them! I have a little collection growing in my house but this GIANT one I got from Cut it Out Frames is by far my favorite!!! It’s the Balboa Single Frame and it’s 20×30 in size.
The frames come in natural wood but they are so easy to paint. I decided to I make mine into a bulletin board for my kitchen.
Here’s your supply list:
20×30 Balboa Frame from Cut It Out Frames (or the frame or your choice)
Chalky Paint
Small Roller & Foam Roller Covers
Fabric
(1) 20×30 piece of foam board
Spray Adhesive
Sand Paper
I painted mine using chalky paint that I picked up from Home Depot and a small sponge roller. Worked great! I didn’t have to prime it at all but did use 2 coats of paint. Once it was dry, I sanded the edges to distress it.
I took my foam board and traced it onto the back of my fabric and then cut it out. I used spray adhesive to stick the fabric to my board and then popped it in the frame. It was that simple! I added a few little banners using silver push pins and then hung it on my wall using damage free strips from Command. I simply love how it turned out! That one wall in my kitchen has been bare for ages and this is just what it needed.
Cut It Out frames has frames in all shapes and sizes. They have single layer frames (like mine) and double layer ones available.
So. Who wants to win a $50 gift card to Cut it Out Frames?
