Hi there! It’s Barbara from Chase the Star once again, this time sharing some Mother’s Day love with you! Mother’s Day is this weekend! I thought I’d share a simple and quick gift you can make for the Moms in your life, a Mother’s Day Kisses Jar Gift!

Decorate the Lid:

To add some fun to the lid, simply separate the pieces, and add strips of the Washi tape in an alternating pattern.

Cut off the excess around the edges and fold under.

Put the lid back together.

Decorate the Jar:

Wrap the ribbon around the center of the jar.

Use hot glue to adhere the letter embellishments; spell out your message {I chose to go with ‘Love’ and ‘Mom’ in this fun Scrabble style lettering}.

Add some more Washi tape above and below the ribbon.

You can wrap jute (or more ribbon) around the neck to give it a polished look!

Lastly, fill the jar with LOVE…I mean ‘kisses’. Hershey’s Kisses!! You can use any another candy, or anything else your Mom likes!

How’s that for a cute and easy gift you can make in just a few minutes?!

If you’re hosting this year, you can give a few of these Mother’s Day Kisses Gift Jars as favors! Perhaps your neighbors or kid’s teachers would get one too!
