I’m so excited to be sharing with you this fun Princess Birthday Party with free printables! I styled this adorable princess themed and sweet treats birthday party and my 2 youngest were going nuts, begging me to set up something just as exciting for their birthdays next year. I’d say it was a hit!
When I was growing up there was no such thing as a themed birthday party. There wasn’t any specialty tableware or favors to be purchased. Invitations consisted of generic store bought cards. Hot dogs and popcorn was about as fancy as we got with food. Homemade cakes and cupcakes were the only treats. But we had fun and I never once felt like I missed out.
Fast forward 30 years or so and times have changed! Themed birthday parties are majorly popular now. And I absolutely adore throwing a themed party. For my son’s first birthday we did a circus theme. I went crazy with a dessert table, photo centerpieces, printable candy bar labels, cupcake toppers, you name it. It was tons of work but I loved every minute of it.
That first birthday party was almost 5 years ago and even in that short period of time, there have been new products introduced that make throwing a themed party even more fun!

Princess Birthday Party
Every party begins with an invitation. I designed a blank princess invitation that you can download, print and hand-write the info in.
I knew I wanted to incorporate Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Candies and a game of Pin the Kiss on the Frog Prince seemed appropriate! The game is played just like you’d play Pin the Tail on the Donkey but this time we are using Hershey’s Kisses and we are pinning it on the frog! Adorable, right? I created a big poster that can easily be hung up on any wall and with a little bit of tape the chocolate can be stuck to the sign by your little blinded-folded party guests.
Note: The game poster is 18×24. I had mine printed as a color engineer print at Staples for just a few bucks.
I mounted my game poster to a piece of foam board and set it on top of the treat table to add to the decorations. A jar of “Frog Kisses” was placed beside it until game time. If little hands make their way into the jar before game time, that would be okay too. They are SUPER delicious!
While we are talking about the treat table, I designed a “Sweet Treats” sign and attached it to a little white stand that I painted and distressed myself. Ya know, just in case all the candy on the table didn’t give it away. (wink wink)
Every princess needs a wand, so using the Jolly Rancher Lollipops I made these darling little “princess wands”. I covered the top of the lollipop with silver tissue paper, added a little cape to it with wired ribbon and of course added pink crowns to the top that I cut out using my cutting machine. Aren’t they delightful?
I made “gumball machines” from flower pots and glass bowls and filled them up with Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates from the party collection. I love how you can now purchase bags of single colors. That comes in so handy when you just want all boy colors or all girl colors.
What I really loved about the Hershey birthday collection is the use of colors. I love that I can buy a bag of Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates in one particular color. Since I was putting together a princess party, the pink, purple and green Hershey’s Kisses were perfect. Had I been throwing a superhero party, the red, blue and yellow wrapped Hershey’s Kisses would have been perfect!
I used the Hershey’s Kisses Birthday Cake Candies for my “frog kisses” and they are just different enough to stand out. Their festive blue confetti wrapper is adorable and they are made out of white chocolate candy with colorful little crunchies inside. Boy are they good!
Making your little princess or superhero feel extra special on their big day just got easier with Hershey birthday products. They can be added to almost every aspect of the celebration, whether it be in party favors, a treats or dessert table, games and prizes, or part of the decorations.
