A few months ago I was baking up a storm for various holidays and functions. One recipe that I had seen that looked soooooo sinfully delcious was cake balls (or cake pops) from Bakerella. She made it look so easy so of course I had to try.
Well, I should have known. lol I’ve seen my fair share of projects gone wrong in the kitchen and this one is right up there! The instructions were great and they really were pretty simple but I don’t think they came out as good as bakerellas. What do you think?
Hers…..
Truth be told, I did dip mine in chocolate like she did but they got kind of crumbly. So, being the “Girl Lazy” I opted to drizzle chocolate on undipped balls. All in all, they did taste delicious. The girls loved them but until I master this recipe (and technique), I will keep them as an “at home” treat. lol
If you have never heard of Bakerella or been to her site, you are missing out. So many delicious treats and recipes. 🙂
XOXO
