Free Printable Frozen Bag Topper

Hi again! It’s Emily from My Love for Words, and I don’t know about you, but we’ve had a very cold winter this year. I recently saw an ecard that said every time a Frozen video was uploaded to the internet winter was extended by another week. I hope bag toppers are excluded from that list because I’m looking forward to spring.

Despite the cold, it’s been an exciting last couple of weeks around our house. The sweet and adorable model in the picture above (wrote the unbiased mother) just celebrated her fifth birthday! Like most little girls these days, she requested a Frozen themed birthday party. Unfortunately, there’s very little Frozen stuff available (around us anyway) so I whipped up a couple of solutions at home.

I’m currently working to declutter my life and home so the last thing I wanted to do was send everyone home with a bunch of chotchkis that would require the parents to break out the black garbage bags and smuggle them out of the house in a few months. I may or may not be speaking from experience where that’s concerned. Instead, I thought it would be fun to create my own version of the “Do you want to build a snowman” bag toppers I’ve seen on, where else, pinterest.

I used a regular sandwich sized ziplock bag and filled it with some small marshmallows, pretzel sticks, and chocolate chips, or what you might otherwise refer to as “snowman parts.” We handed these favors out to the kids as they left, but some have made games of this activity and had the kids build snowmen at the party. (Larger marshmallows, or perhaps varying sizes, would work best for that activity.)

The front of the bag topper has the beloved Olaf (I can relate to his longing for summer right now), and the back has space for writing the recipient and giver’s names.

This would also be a fun way to celebrate the dvd’s release this week. You can find your own copy here, and more of my free printable bag toppers and various organizing worksheets here. We’d love for you to stop by!
