Now, onto the blog swap……
I’m so excited to be guest blogging for The Girl Creative. Thank you Diana for the fun opportunity!
If you don’t know me yet… I’m Maryann from Domestically Speaking and I entered into this fab world of blogging a little over 4 months ago. I’d been a blog watcher for about a year, but I decided to take the plunge late, last year.
I’m a wife and mom to three great kiddos (9,7,4) and my blog is a place for me to share some of the things that I’m most passionate about. You’ll find bargain hunting, DIY’ing, crafting, cooking, baking, painting, furniture rehab’ing, simple sewing, decorating and some household tips that help me keep our family running.
The last few days I’ve been sharing on my blog what I created with an old sweater I found in my closet.
Well…. yesterday I came across this tutorial on making rolled flowers and my mind started to spin with ideas of leftover sweater scraps, burlap and twine – oh my!
Step One: Cute a circle from your felt in the size you’d like your flower to be.
Thanks again Diana for swapping with me! I hope to see all you creative ladies over at Domestically-Speaking. If you’re into painting I host a Power of Paint Party every Wednesday.
XOXO
Diana
