Blog Business: Unique Advertisting Opportunity and Guest Writers Wanted

Good Morning!! Last night was such a rough night sleep for us. My 4 year old was out of sorts for some reason and kept getting up. First it was she had to go potty. Then her leg hurt. Then her leg hurt again. Then it was more crying because her leg “hurt”. Then it was some motrin and a heating pad and some prayers and songs. Finally, it was letting her sleep in the middle last night (at like 2:30 am) in order to get any sleep. Miraculously, her leg was fine this morning. Go figure!!! lol

Anyhow, I’m offering a unique advertising opportunity here at The Girl Creative and spaces are limited. As you can see, I’ve added a new section at the top of the blog for 6 sponsors. Along with that, your ad will go below every post for the duration of the advertisting period (see below). Rates are $45 for 3 months. Not only will everyone see your ad when they first visit the blog but will also be seen at the bottom of each post as a reminder to go pay you a visit. All payments are made via Paypal. Please send an email to thegirlcreative@gmail.com with “Advertising Special” in the subject area if you are interested. šŸ™‚

Awhile back I had been doing blog swaps. I so enjoyed having other people come here and share their projects but I let it fall to the wayside because I just could not keep up with the swap end of it. So, I’m looking for Guest Writers: Bloggers who want to come take over The Girl Creative for the day and share a project with our readers. Even if you have posted here before, we’d love to have you back. šŸ™‚ Please send emails to thegirlcreative@gmail.com with Guest Post in the Subject area and a link to the project you’d like to share. šŸ™‚

  1. It’s in the air! My four year old is all of the sudden getting up at night and so is the daughter of the girl who sits next to me at work! Weird.

Sorry, I’m not crafty and can’t really make anything more than an iced tea so I’ll just participate by READING the guest posts, how about that? šŸ™‚

  2. Sorry you & her had a rough night. I know how she felt! I had leg ‘hurts’ as a child – I’d wake my parents up whimpering in my sleep & when they’d wake me up I’d say my legs hurt. It really can be painful. Later in life my mom was able to look back & see how long I’d been dealing w/ the leg cramps (I hate to call them that b/c ppl think of them as normal leg cramps & they’re NOT) – I’d suffered w/ them since I was a toddler! But they never knew it until I was able to verbalize it. Anyway, I hope she’s feeling better!!

  3. Recently found your blog….love it! I recently started one of my own and am learning the in’s and out’s of the blog world! What kind of projects would you like to see from a guest blogger? Thanks!

  4. On the leg cramp issue…my son also has them. Someone told me that it was to much calcium in his diet. He loves milk, cheese and yogurt. I didn’t want to cut any of that out so instead I suplemented with soy milk. He still drank regular milk too, just not as much. Seemed to work. He no longer wakes with the leg “hurts”.
