4th of July Napkin Wrapper
Hello Girl Creative readers, and happy July! Steph here visiting from Crafting in the Rain again. Today’s post is super simple 4th of July napkin wrappers. They’re perfect if you want to add a little color to your BBQ without spending too much time or breaking the bank.
With just a bit of red and blue paper, your boring utensils will be suddenly patriotic!
Supplies:
Plastic utensils and Napkins
Red and Blue paper (mix in some patterns if you want more variety too!)
Bakers twine (I used a white and blue mix, but just about any color would look cute)
Tape and Glue
Start by cutting the red paper into 1 1/2 inch strips and blue into 1 inch strips. A paper trimmer is perfect for this of course. Then cut each of those in half so they’re 6 inches long.
Glue blue strips onto red strips. Fold napkin in half and tuck the utensils in the fold, then wrap the napkin around the back. Use tape to secure the paper around the napkin and tie with bakers twine.
Set them out in a basket or jar on your buffet table, and everyone can easily grab one. What are your fun plans for the 4th of July? Do you plan on making cute utensils? If you’ve got a bit more time, make these decorated USA letters as well!
And these Brownie Pops would make a perfect BBQ dessert.
Hope you have a great holiday, and thanks for stopping by The Girl Creative today!
