Motherhood is a Calling Printable

TGIF is all this mom can say! Our weeks are so crazy these days and Friday night is when I can take a breather for a little bit. No homework to be done, no practices or games to take the kids to, no where to be! I love it! You may or may not have noticed that aside from our 2 weekly parties, I have not posted much in the last few weeks. It's not for lack of inspiration or supplies or that everything on my craft to-do list has been checked off, it's been because I needed to take care of my house. If you've been a reader of mine for any length of time you will know that I struggle to keep order in my house, to get the laundry done, to have balance in my house. One thought that's been going through my head the last few weeks as I've had a a sick little boy, a MOUNTAIN of laundry to do, and … [Read more...]

He Lives Easter Subway Art

Inspirational Quotes

Today is Good Friday and I can't let this day go by without turning my thoughts towards Jesus. If I'm being honest, I've been distracted and "busy" lately and know I need to refocus and turn my attention away from things that don't matter and back onto things that do. Any day of the week or year we can turn to Jesus for grace and mercy and recommit our ways to Him but somehow when we come up to holiday that is focused solely on HIM (sorry Easter Bunny!) it just makes taking that step a bit easier. I was giving some thought to what kind of printable I could share on Free Printable Friday and an old church song came to mind and I found it to be really fitting. I've done a few scripture subway art in the past like the one from Jeremiah 29:11 and I Corinthians 13. I've also done one with … [Read more...]

I Know That You Are For Me Chalkboard Art Preview Image

TGIF! Can I get an amen?? I don't know what it was about this week but it totally wiped me out! It wasn't super busy but I found myself super tired this week. I'm so glad it's finally Friday because that means no homework for my girls tonight. Woo hoo! I tell ya, homework time at my house is utter chaos. I have my 6 year old who talks and talks and talks and doesn't want to do hers. Then I have my little guy who will be 2 in April who completely runs amuck. We call him fingers because he is just into everything. And then we have my poor 9 year old who is trying to focus with all of this other nonsense going on. It is cray cray! So when Friday rolls around I can breathe a sigh of relief. Please tell me I am not alone! … [Read more...]

How many of you have those go-to scriptures when times are tough? You have them memorized word for word, they are all highlighted and marked up in your Bibles and probably plastered around your house or office or even car in little places for easy reminders and encouragement that you're not alone and that God is still in control. Printable Be Optimistic Subway Art

Ever walk through a store and something catches your eye and you just have to take a photo of it because of course as a DIY blogger you say to yourself, “I can totally make that”? (hello longest sentence ever) Well that happened to me a few weeks ago when I saw some wall art with a quote that I just loved and new I needed to make it into subway art.   Too many times our minds are bombarded by negative thoughts. We let the weight of the world weigh us down and we allow feelings of insecurity, fear, self-doubt, etc take over our thoughts. I think we need a constant reminder of the blessings we have and to just be thankful to be alive. To enjoy every moment and not to take anything for granted.   With that said, we should always try to: Download PDF HERE Personal Use Only. … [Read more...]

Free Printable Friday "You Are Braver" Subway Art

It's almost 10pm EST and I am just getting to my Free Printable Friday post! I don't know why but this week was a little crazy for me. Maybe it was the looming thought of all the laundry I had to do or the 3 day weekend with the kids home from school earlier in the week but whatever it is, I just did not have the time to put anything together until just a little while ago. Anyhow, I took a poll on my Facebook page to see what you guys wanted more tonight, Subway Art or a February Calendar and the majority voted for Subway Art so I got crackin! I know earlier in the year everyone was sharing their "Word of the Year" and although I didn't do a post like that I had mulled over some words that could be my "word of the year". They all seemed to center around building confidence, making … [Read more...]

Easter Subway Art

What would a holiday be around here without some subway art, right?? I created my first subway art last year for Easter and it came out okay but I wanted to create a new, better version. (AVAILABLE IN BLACK AND WHITE AND EASTER COLORS) As you know, I’m a Jesus lovin’ girl. Although I do the whole Easter Basket thing(I love any reason to spoil my kids with goodies!)  I never want this holiday to go by without acknowledging the whole reason why we celebrate. Without Jesus and His ultimate sacrifice for us and our sins, we’d be lost. I know I can’t thank Him enough for this amazing gift He’s given me. At times I find myself in awe of just how much He loves me, loves US really. I’m so undeserving. I fall short every. single. day. I fail Him. I fail my family. I say things I … [Read more...]
