Simple Valentine’s Day Straw Flags

You guys ready for the easiest project ever? I made these simple Valentine’s Day straw flags in just a few minutes……..and while I had a little maniac running around. So. If I can pull this project off in a flash, so can you.

SUPPLIES

EK Tools Heart Paper Punch

Paper Straws

Scissor or Exacto Knife

Patterned and Solid Card Stock

Punch out as many hearts as you have straws. Mix it up by using several patterns and colors of paper. In the center of each heart you will use your knife and create 2 parallel slices. Make them about a half inch apart and they should only be about a half inch long each. Carefully slip your straw through.

I think everything looks better in a mason jar so I tossed my straws in a wide mouth mason jar, added a heart with some bakers twine and called it done.
