It’s been almost 5 years since my little kitchen got a makeover. I still love it today but my style has changed somewhat and  I would change a few things if it was in our budget. Unfortunately it’s not right now but a girl can dream, can’t she? Come along and see what my idea of my dream kitchen would be and find out how you can win your own dream kitchen makeover!

My dream kitchen would have white cabinets (and lots of them!) and an insane amount of counter space. This kitchen fits the bill.

It would have a gorgeous island with seating. This one from Cedar Hill Farmhouse is absolutely stunning. The cabinets are perfection as well.

 A large farmhouse sink is a must and this one from Edith and Evelyn Vintage is gorgeous! This is something my husband wanted and I voted against. #kickingmyself

We never added a backsplash during our kitchen renovation so I would definitely want to have that in my dream kitchen. I’m loving this white quatrefoil design in this kitchen.

And lastly, I would NOT go with silver stainless steal appliances. Our old kitchen had a mishmash of appliances; black microwave and dishwasher; white refrigerator and stove. I wanted silver stainless steal appliances because to me they just looked so elegant and trendy. I did NOT consider the little hands that would smudge and wipe and smear all kinds of stuff on them. My refrigerator is always dirty. So is my dishwasher. It took me awhile to figure out how to clean them in a way where it would not show streaks (baby oil – you’re welcome). LG recently introduced a Black Stainless Steel series and they are gorgeous! They come with a new satin-smooth finish and they don’t smudge. Did you get that last little tidbit??? A stainless steel appliance that doesn’t smudge?? Bring it!
