Give Thanks Chalkboard Art {Free Printable}

The countdown to Thanksgiving is ON! And in my house that means that our elf (on a shelf), Shelvin, will be making his appearance on Thanksgiving night. My girls can.not.wait! But, this is not about Shelvin.

Last week I was sitting in our mid-week church service and the message was on receiving. Receiving from God, that is. I hadn’t been in a church service for what feels like months and it the message was really what I needed to hear – for so many reasons. There was so many things that our associate pastor said that hit home but one of the things that stuck out to me was the mention of this verse:

give thanks to the Lord chalkboard art

It’s funny because as I sit here writing this all out I’m thinking of something I read in a devotional this morning about God being good:

This side of heaven we will never full understand why bad things happen to good people. But we know that God is good, all the time.

Even when things in our life aren’t going right or we are going through a struggle, one thing we can count on is that God is good. I needed to hear that. I don’t have anything major going on in my life (thankfully) but just some things I struggle with and want to ask “why” and whine and complain but really, God is GOOD. He always has His reasons for things even when we don’t get it (or like it).

  5. Hi Diana,
    Can you tell me what size this chalkboard print is supposed to be? Is it an 8×10 or something else?
    Thanks!

    1. Hi Lori,
      I typically make my prints in 8×10 size. However they are all made in 300dpi as well which means you can get it printed larger than that if you wanted and the quality would still be good. Hope this helps. šŸ™‚
