I had seen the recipe for cake batter blondies all over the web and thought that since I love blondies and I love cake, I knew I would love cake batter blondies. They were so easy to make and they were a huge hit at home. My girls go bonkers when I say I’m making them. These blondies never last more than a few hours in our house. Sad but true. We love a good, delicious dessert.
Ingredients:
1 Box of Yellow Cake Mix
1 Egg
1/4 C vegetable oil
1/3-1/2 C milk
1/4 C sprinkles
1/2 C white chocolate chips
Stir together cake mix, egg and oil. Slowly add milk and stir in. (I used 1/3 cup this time but in the past I think I used 1/2 cup and I remember it spreading in the pan a little bit easier than this time.) You will want it to look more like dough than cake batter (pictured below).
Add sprinkles and white chocolate chips and stir well. Spread mixture evenly into a greased pan. I use an 8×8 glass pan. Bake at 350 for about 20 –25 minutes (cook time varies due to individual ovens). You will want to take it out when the outer edges are golden brown. Important: the inside should be a bit undercooked so if you stick a toothpick in the center it should NOT come out clean. It will settle and set while cooling. Remove from oven and allow pan to cool on cooling rack for about 30 minutes or so before cutting.
Enjoy!!
