Hey hey everyone!! I’m soooo excited for today’s party because it’s my first post over on the new blog! If you don’t follow me on Facebook or Twitter then you may have missed my announcements that I was switching to WordPress this weekend. I did it myself and I’m so happy I did! WordPress is a whole other world from Blogger. Writing the initial post is pretty similar but the options and capabilities of WP are insane! I plan on sharing my experience soon. 
So, let’s get this party started!
I am so excited for you about making the switch, way to go!! I am still blogging under a wordpress.com address, but have thought about switching to wordpress.org, but it seems a little scary, so I will definitely appreciate you sharing any tips! Thanks for having us!

I was really scared too but I’m so glad I did it. I used an ebook to help (the one in the sidebar) and without it I seriously couldn’t have done the migration myself. You should definitely think about it.

Looks great! I’m actually migrating from wordpress.com to wordpress.org this week…so I can relate to your excitement. Though, I’m getting help with mine. Didn’t feel savvy enough with html and coding to do it myself. Props to you!

Welcome to WordPress! I just recently made the switch from wordpress.com hosted, to self-hosted and it was a whirlwind. It’s a lot of work, but WordPress is an incredible tool with endless opportunity… I seriously think you’ll love it.

Welcome to wordpress! I have a love/hate relationship with wordpress. Just an fyi for something I discovered last Thursday. You know the library that you download your pics to, and then pull from to put in your blog articles? Yeah…if you delete pictures from the library, it will delete that same pic that is posted in a blog. I deleted my whole library. How nice…my blog is picture-less almost completely (I did take the time to get about 1/6 of my blog back up with pictures).
WordPress really does rock though!
