It’s almost 10pm EST and I am just getting to my Free Printable Friday post! I don’t know why but this week was a little crazy for me. Maybe it was the looming thought of all the laundry I had to do or the 3 day weekend with the kids home from school earlier in the week but whatever it is, I just did not have the time to put anything together until just a little while ago.
Anyhow, I took a poll on my Facebook page to see what you guys wanted more tonight, Subway Art or a February Calendar and the majority voted for Subway Art so I got crackin!
I know earlier in the year everyone was sharing their “Word of the Year” and although I didn’t do a post like that I had mulled over some words that could be my “word of the year”. They all seemed to center around building confidence, making myself better, etc. So I found this quote online (not sure of the original author…….some said it’s from Whinnie the Pooh…..so………) and thought this would a great piece of subway art to do.

I picked up a magnet board from Joann’s Fabric, added a little ribbon and a flower magnet to hang on the wall. I used a wood curtain rod from Lowe’s and cut it down to size for this small space next to the door. A couple of buckets from Target’s dollar bin easily hold chalk and an eraser.
