Just Something I Whipped Up with Smart Decorating Ideas

::::Don’t forget to enter this week’s giveaways from Cap Creations ($40 Gift Certificate) and Fashionably {L8} ($25 Gift Certificate)::::
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and was able to enjoy the weekend and hopefully some time off. We spent a good 8 hours of Turkey Day traveling in the car which was very tiresome for Kole. He’s teething and was just out of sorts. Not to mention the crazy traffic we hit on the way home which I’m sure had a lot to do with Black Friday beginning on Thursday. Grrr…. But, it was all good. I saw my in laws and my own family and we had a good day.
Before we get started with this week’s party I want to tell you about a cool new site that I think a lot of you will find inspiring: Smart Decorating Ideas. If you are looking for inspiration for your home, you need to check them out. They provide decorating tips for your home; bedrooms, living room, bathroom, kitchen and office AND they also give you tips on how to decorate your home for holidays and special occasions like baby showers and themed parties ( I love that! ). With Christmas right around the corner you may find these articles helpful: 3 Decorating Ideas for Your Front Porch and 3 Low- Budget DIY Christmas Decorating Ideas.

If you sign up for their Newsletter, you will be automatically entered to win a 12 month subscription to House Beautiful Magazine.
Some of their more recent articles are How to Decorate with Pictures(which I really need to re-read) and How to Accessorize a Living Room. I hope that you will stop by their site and spend some time there gaining decorating inspiration!
Time to link up the projects that you’ve been working on. It can be a recipe, DIY project, room re-do, holiday craft, etc. as long as you have created it. NO Pinterest Round Up Posts please. :) Grab a button from HERE and pop it up on your blog somewhere to spread the word. :)
