I know I said I was taking a break until after the baby but I just can's stay away. Actually I've been taking it really easy and staying off my kitchen chairs as much as possible (they are of the devil I've learned! And my source of my really bad days with the sciatica. lol) so some days have been much more bearable than others. Praise God! Still no baby yet which is getting REALLY OLD! lol I'm realizing that I am not happy not being able to do things like I normally do. Cleaning, cooking and laundry has been a chore (no pun intended) and I feel helpless. There is so much to be done around the house and I just can't do any of it. Sigh.Okay enough of my whining. ;) I'm excited to report that the babies room is under way and my husband is tackling molding for the first time. We bought a miter saw last year and to date had not used it. Well, all that's changing baby! He's turned into my handyman the last few weeks and I. LOVE. IT!!!! Mr. GC installed a ceiling fan in the girls new room AND in Kole's new room AND he did all the wiring and spackling himself. Today we picked up a nail gun and boy oh boy I can hardly wait to get my hands on that thing! I've been itching to get a hold of some tools and start doing things so I'm excited for the months to come. :)
But........all that was not the reason for this post. I wanted to feature some of the amazing projects that were linked up during this week's Just Something I Whipped Up party. We had about 480 entries. Awesome!!!!!
First up is this bathroom closet redo by Liz Marie. Love the colors, the furniture, the style, all of it!
I have a LOT of furniture to paint this summer so I'm loving the inspiration from this dresser redo from The Frosted Gardner.
Wow, check out this beautiful French Farm Kitchen Remodel from Shabby French Cottage. There is so much detail in this, you will go nuts.
Check out this unique spin on garland! Nature Inspired Vintage Garland from House Revivals.
Anyone need some new throw pillows? Check these out:
Now for some snacks to top it all off! Maybe I should have posted those first so that you could have whipped up some of these goodies and then plopped down in front of your computer to check out all of this creative goodness
I nearly stopped dead in my tracks when I came across these:
I'm drooling. Someone grab me a napkin!
Anything with coconut, I'm there! I think my girls would fall in love with these little Baby Bird Cuppies from A Turtle's Life for Me
Thank you so much to everyone who linked up this week. Please grab a featured button from my sidebar if you found your project linked up here.:)
